Anoushka’s new guy, handpicked by YRF

Anoushka Sharma has a new man in her life ! No,we’re not talking about her relationship status.We are talking about a new guy in her upcoming film under Yash Raj banner.Associate Director Maneesh Sharma who was involved in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi starring Shahrukh Khan has now been given a chance to direct a film solely under the same production house.

The new face in the movie is Ranveer Singh who will be paired opposite Anoushka Sharma.Ranveer Singh was selected by Aditya Chopra,the producer of the film, instantly after his first audition.The surprising element here is that he does not have any acting or modelling experience.

The untitled film is based around two students Shruti(Anpushka) and Bitto(Ranveer Singh) fresh out of Delhi University who grudgingly start their disorderly business venture.The story showcases their friendship and the highs and lows of their business that brings them in high scale and glamorous world of Delhi weddings.

The film is scheduled to release later in this year.

Shazahn Padmshree is very talented girl beside her family support, she was selected in FHM India to be a FHM girl and shot a hot photo shot. Her acting background includes her subtle performance in play “Unspoken Dialogues”, which was very successful.

There are some rumours regrading her movie Magadheera is being remade in Hindi and she has agreed to reprise but Kajal has denied with this news she said this all rumour.

Recently she is starring in another Telugu movie with the co-star Jr. NTR and she would also see in Modhi Vilayadu in Tamil.

RDB boy returns

Siddharth is known best for his performance in Rang De Basanti. But after RDB he almost disappered. But he would finally be seen in the Bollywood movie Striker which is scheduled to hit theaters on February 5. The reason he gives for his disapprance is that he had just attained stardom in south before RDB happened and he could not leave that. Having gained some ground there he can now experiment with Bollywood.

His new movie Striker stars Aditya Pancholi, Anupam Kher and south Indian actress Padma. It is based on a true story about a carrom player from the slums of Mumbai during the early 80’s.
Siddharth has worked with several big directors like Mani Ratnam in ‘Aayutha Ezhuthu’, ’Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana’, ‘Chukkallo Chandrudu’, with Vishal Bhardwaj in his short film ‘Blood Brothers’ and with Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra in ‘Rang De Basanti’.

Vidhya and Arshad on star plus

On Star plus reality show Amul Music Ka Maha Muqqabla, there will be heavy dose of entertainment, with the presence of actors of movie Ishqiya Vidhya Balan ad Arshad Warsi. Both the star will present in the show, to promote movie, Ishqiya. In the show Vidhya will be on Shann’s side and Arshad cheers Mika’s contestants. From the controversy of Mika and Rakhi Sawant, Mika plays safely and respect Vidhya Balan and cheer Shaan’s team also. No work for Asin!

Asin swept the audience off their feet with her performance in Ghajini
but her film “London Dreams” failed to click at the box office. And
now there is almost no work for Asin Thottumkal in the Hindi film
industry.

She has no films in hand as of now. All that she was heard saying was
that future projects are under production and she can’t talk about
them until the producers give her a go-ahead. But Asin has assured
that she will be seen more in movies this year.

On asking what her dream guy would be like the multi-lingual actress
said that she does not have a check list for her dream guy. But
integrity of character is a very important quality. The actress was in
the capital recently to announce the 55th edition of the Filmfare
Awards.

Sarah Thompson comes to Bollywood

Another Hollywood beauty, Sarah Thompson Kane, in on her way to
Bollywood. She is expected to act opposite Ranbir Kapoor’s in
Raajneeti. This Los Angeles born beauty, studied at Columbia
University (New York) and is well-versed with
tap-ballroom-jazz-swing-ballet and does yoga. In the film Sarah’s
character follows Ranbir Kapoor to India after he deserts her for
political aspirations.

The film would be releasing on May 28 and its cast also includes
Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgan, Arjun Rampal, Vivek Oberoi, Nana Patekar.
The Indo-American statesman Rajan Zed is looking at this new
Hollywood-Bollywood engagement as a positive step to bring West and
East closer.

Shazahn Padamsee goes to Tollywood

After having worked opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Rocket Singh, Shazahn Padamsee, would be soon entering Tollywood. Shazahn has been roped in to play the second lead opposite Ram Charan Teja in his ongoing Orange, which has Genelia playing the lead role.

The movie has been produced by Naga Babu and is expected to be a fun-filled romantic entertainer under the banner of Anjana Productions and would be directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar. Some of the scenes of the movie with Ram Charan Teja and Genelia were shot in Mumbai and the major portion of the movie would be filmed in Sydney from February.

Post the brave warrior role played by Ram Charan in his latest blockbuster Magadheera, he will be seen in the role of a chocolate boy in Orange. The music of the film is composed by Harris Jayaraj, camera by Kiran Reddy, art by Anand Sai, editing by Marthand K. Venkatesh, while story and screenplay are by Bhaskar.

Imraan and Avantika will hear Wedding bells !

Bollywood cutie Imran Khan who left the girls asking for more with his debut film Jaane Tu Ya Na is now settling down and is all set to tie the knot with long time girlfriend Avantika Malik in this week.To celebrate the ocassion,Aamir Khan who is also the uncle of Imran has rescheduled his films and other appointments to hold the wedding ceremony at their farm house.

The celebrities that will grace the ocassion are Deepika Padukone,Abbas Tyrewala,Karan Johar and Sonam Kapoor.

Shraddha Kapoor in My Friend Pinto

Shraddha Kapoor who’s the daughter of very famous Bollywood filmstar Shakti Kapoor is all set to act in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next flick titled My Friend Pinto.

The actress made her debut in acting career with Amitabh Bachchan starrer movie ‘Teen Patti’ which is set to get released on February 26, 2010. Know more about Amitabh Bachchan’s horoscope.

The film, My Friend Pinto will be directed by Raghav Dar. Prateik Babbar son of Bollywood actor-turned-politician Raj Babbar will be playing the lead. The movie will also star Manisha Koirala.
