Shruti Hassan performs at award function

After making her debut with bollywood flick Luck, Shruti Hassan disappeared from the B-Town scene. The singer-cum-actress recently performed at Sabsey Favourite Kaun film awards function for the first time.

Kamal Hassan‘s daughter performed to a medley of her tracks from Luck like Aazma Luck, Kudhaya Ve and Jeele. The actress also sang the title track. Currently, Shruti is also shooting for National Award winning director Prakash Rao’s Telugu film in Hyderabad opposite Siddharth.

Fun loving guy Prateik

Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na fame Prateik Babbar is said to be a cool, fun loving guy. Recently the star was spotted at Gold Gym in Bandra, Mumbai with his close friends where he entertained them so much that the actor made their workout much easier.

Prateik Babbar had a great time cracking up jokes, showing off his abs, rolling up his ganji infront of everybody. The actor got so carried away in his mood that he also asked other people to join in the fun.

Prateik Babbar will be seen next in Kiran Rao’s Dhobi Ghaat. Meanwhile, Prateik has also signed My Friend Pinto, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Saif Ali Khan’s home production.

Upcoming actress Jacqueline Fernandez whose debut was in recent film ‘Aladin‘ has gone a step further as she has graced the cover page of style magazine Grazia. She is on this December issue whose cover is inspired by the times of 80s.

This actress who is half Sri Lankan – half Malaysian is seen wearing a yellow halter gown and carrying a gold box clutch by Christian Dior. As she has been former Miss Sri Lanka,she accepts fame as it comes. Talking to Mag, she said, “It gives you a high for sure, but you know at the back of your mind that fame can be addictive and there’s a very real possibility that it could spiral out of control… When you’re in the line of fire every day, your every move is being judged, you have to juggle crushing schedules… it’s hard not to lose it from time to time.”

She is coming next in Milap Zaveri’s ‘jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai’. She is working hard and is geared up for his next flick.

Gauhar full of complaints

Upcoming actress Gauhar Khan who is one of the leading actresses of film ‘Rocket Singh- Salesman of the Year’ is full of complaints. And that also against heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor.

It seems that the actress had a hard time on the sets while shooting. Expressing herself, she said, “I play the receptionist at Ranbir Kapoor’s sales company. And trust me, Ranbir used to be so naughty on the sets. Before taking the shot, I would sit on my desk and he would fiddle with the stamp by thumping it on my arm.”

She continues saying, “Ranbir would go on stamping my arms with the inked rubber-stamp. I would get very irritated; to which he would say it will go in one wash. He used to be so very troublesome.”

We hope that the actress take things lightly and very soon adjusts herself in the industry.

Genelia with Shahid

upcoming actress Genelia D’Souza is not able to believe herself as she is acting alongside star Shahid Kapoor in the flick ‘Chance Pe Dance‘. What’s more to it is that she got the chance to spank Shahid not just once but a couple of times.

Actor Shahid is not only known for his looks but also for his buttocks. Therefore it was a real opportunity for her to get to touch his bum. The scene has been when Shahid teases her.

The film has been produced by Ronnie Screwvala and directed by Ken Ghosh. It will be releasing on 5 January 2010.

Jackie at DariyaDilli Campaign

Upcoming bollywood actor Jackie Bhagnani who is son of Vashu Bhagnani, recently supported the DariyaDilli Campaign and for this he visited visited BIG 92.7 FM.

He was there on Friday 4th December. He entered with a brand new look and a sporting style of candid smile. He took over as the evening jock and hosted the segment ‘Chal Kat le’ with RJ Jiah and Ramit. With this campaign he requested the Delh-ites to come forward to support the noble cause and help donate winter clothes to the needy.

Jackie’s upcoming flick is ‘Faltoo’ which is produced by his father Vashu only. In the film Miss India – Pooja Chopra is in the female lead.

Happy Mugdha

Actress Mugdha Godse’s third flick ‘Jail‘ took the actress to cloud nine with the huge response she received from overseas audience. Her debut film was Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Fashion’ and after that she acted in ‘All The Best’.

Sharing her happiness, she said, “I am getting wonderful response for my role in the film. It is a great feeling to have people settled abroad waiting for the film to release in their respective countries. Audiences are all stunned to see me in altogether diverse avatar to that of my previous film.”

In the film she enjoyed to groove on the beats of the super hit number Saiyaan Ve. She has got diverse roles from the three films and looking forward to morte success ahead.

Shruti learns Telugu

Upcoming actress Shruti Hasan who made her debut in B-Town with Soham Shah’s ‘Luck’, is these days in Hyderabad. There she is shooting for a fantasy film directed by national award winning director Prakash Rao. Shruti is cast opposite Siddharth in this film.

The actress says that she is having complete fun in the city. Other than shooting she is learning Telugu also. She is fluent in Tamil and also knows bit of German. As now she has got opportunity to do Telugu movie therefore she’s picking up local language quite fast.

She is now known as a linguist. We wish her all the very best.

Starry airs of Shazahn

Debut actor Shazahn Padamsee who is coming in Shimit Amen’s ‘Rocket Singh – Salesman of the Year’, is basking in starry airs even before the film has been released. The reason is that she believes that she is the lead actress of the film starring opposite Ranbir Kapoor.

And not only this she is keeping distance with her co star Gauhar Khan who is also in the film. During the wrap up part of the film, the two actresses had not greeted each other and made a conscious effort to stay away from each other. According to the sources, “Shazahn has been the hot topic on the sets, especially because of the way she has been publicizing herself. The film is not a love story in which she can play the lead. It is a completely different genre where one cannot play the lead opposite the protagonist (Ranbir).”

The actress has acted for four days only, while her co actress Gauhar has acted for four months for the film. When Shazahn was directly asked that who plays the lead role, she said, “I have nothing bad to say about anyone. It was a great experience working in this film and I have nothing to complain about.”

Ayaan’s bollywood debut

Actor Ayaan is going to debut in bollywood with the film ‘Ada’ which is directed by his father Tanvir Ahmad. The film is not a typical bollywood film, and is considered a triumph of style and content over other bollywood films.

Ayaan is in role of a young guy whose name is Ada, as is the name of film. In the film he tries to traverse life between crime and spirituality. About his son the father says, “Launching happened by chance. I monitored him for quite a long time and I thought he would be the best for the role.”

Ayaan’s co stars are Nauheed Cyrusi, Rahul Roy and Ayesha Julka. As per the reports the film is set to release on December 18.
